ABOUT HAWAII SOCCER ASSOCIATION

Mission:

Hawaii Soccer Association (HSA) is Hawaii’s official adult soccer body. It is set up to provide the widest opportunity for playing soccer in Hawaii for adults. The organization is inclusive, supporting recreational and competitive leagues. The organization endorses tournament play, on quality fields with certified referees, while maintaining a safe environment within the laws of the game.

HSA is affiliated with United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA), United States Soccer Federation (USSF) and Federation International de Football Association (FIFA).

USASA – Is the national organization and sanctioning body for all amateur soccer in the United States.

USSF – Is the national governing body for soccer in the United States as recognized by the US Olympic Committee.  USSF has four (4) general areas of soccer; Youth Council, Adult Council, Professional Council, and Athletes Advisory Council

USSF – The international governing body of association football (soccer), Futsal, and beach soccer. FIFA is responsible for the organization of football’s major international tournaments.
