Aloha Hawaii Adult Soccer Players,
One of the benefits you as a registered player with the Hawaii Soccer Association receive is accident insurance coverage when you are participating in adult soccer games. As happy as we are to offer this as a benefit to all registered players, I must remind you that the coverage you have is NOT a comprehensive health policy. You as a player pay $15 dollars annually for this policy. To put that quickly into perspecive, most major health insurance policy that you as a player have breaks down to $1.25 a month...so please be realistic on what the policy might cover.
Our present accident isnsurance policy is with AIG and has a $400 deductible. To view the policy benefits, click here.

 2nd Annual Hawaii Sand Soccer Championship
In 2008 The Hawaii Sand Soccer Championship kicked off it's inaugural event. Well, this has come around fast again and I am proud to announce that the 2nd Annual Hawaii Sand Soccer Championship is open for REGISTRATION. The Championship will be held on February 15, 2009 at Fort DeRussy Beach, ocean front of the Hale Koa Hotel.
1. Cost is $300 per team. Signup before January 1 and receive a FREE Soccadelic Beach Soccer Ball.
2. Tournament date: February 15, 2009.
3. Teams are not accepted until full payment has been received.
4. Recommended roster size of 10 players per team.
5. Roster MUST be entered by February 1, 2009. Please do not wait unitl the last minute to register as it makes it very difficult on us trying to setup the tournament.
6. Format of play: U13-U16 boys and girls, Coeds 18+ and 30+, Adult open 20+.
7. Youth ages will be playing for 1st and 2nd place medals. A set of Pugg goals will be awarded to the coach of the first place team.
8. Coed and Men's division will be playing for: 1st = $500 also a set of Pugg goals goes to the coach of the first place team.
9. Bring the whole family down to watch. Sun, Surf, Sand Soccer.

This past year I have teamed up with Mark Koler of Southern California Beach Championship to bring some fo the best ideas to our tournament. Also we are working on obtianing fund to send 1st place teams to California for the Southern California Beach Championship. Soccer Players and Coaches,
I hope everyone had a great Christmas and are looking forward to the New Year. On the website there is 1 week left to receive your FREE official Soccadelic Beach Soccer Ball. For those of you who don’t know. You must register your team before Jan 1, 2009 to receive your FREE Beach Soccer ball.
I will be at Waipio Soccer Complex on Jan 11 and 12. Look for the
Hawaii Sand Soccer Banner. I will extend my offer for one Free Beach Soccer Ball with team registration for that weekend only! I will have the balls with me. Please send me an email or call so I can get a count of how many I need to bring.
We are going to have a fun time this year and with the donated prize money going to the 1st place Mens and Coed divisions. Competition will be stepped up a level. But no worries about referee’s. We have assembled some of the best referee’s on the island. There will of course be live music. Prizes will also be raffled off. So if you are a returning team/player from last year, you know what a great time we had, and for the rest of you, don’t miss out on this years 2009 Hawaii Sand Soccer Championship.

International Professional Soccer Tournament completed successfully in Hawaii in February 2008- the New Pan-Pacific Championship featured top teams from Major League Soccer (including David Beckam's LA Galaxy and Brian Ching's Houston Dynamo), J. League (Japan) and Hyundai A-League (Australia) - continue.
